Let's talk about Christina Hendricks. . .  Did you know that, like Dita Von Teese, Christina is a natural blonde?  It seems this voluptuous lass has been having her hair coloured red since she was a wee 10 years old and wanted to look like Anne in Anne Of Greengables. Raised in both Tennessee and Virginia,  she's famous for being beautifully curvaceous with a breathy voice but not many people know that she wears spectacles. I love spectacles on bombshells, they're so chic!  Newsflash :  Christina is an actress famous for her role as Joan Holloway in the well acclaimed television show Madmen, but she'd love to have a role in which she can sing on the television show Glee.

Jean Schlumberger started working as a button designer for Elsa Schiaperelli. She was the woman who encouraged him to design jewelry for her collections.  After World War II, Jean Schlumberger moved to New York to design clothing for Chez Ninon. In 1946, he opened his jewelry salon. Jean Schlumberger designed Tiffany's most famous creation 'Bird on a Rock',  which was the mounting for the yellow 'Tiffany Diamond'.  He is one of only 4 celebrated jewelers allowed to sign work at the famous Tiffany &Co. His client list included Greta Garbo, John F Kennedy, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Gloria Vanderbilt and Jacqueline Kennedy.

I must apologise profusely for being slightly absent within the last couple of months. Unfortunately, I broke one of my pins in true bombshell style. Picture ambulance, paramedics and crowds of people.  I had to use my wrap to cover myself for modesty! I have been though a couple of rather painful operations and a few weeks in hospital and am working with my dear physiotherapist to get back into glamorous form.   Many thanks for the flowers, teddy bears and chocolates! They are very much appreciated as I am confined to my boudoir like Rapunzel.
