Never get caught without your makeup on or your hair done to your satisfaction.

I've clearly learned my lesson today. I was busy rehearsing with my theatre troupe when a photographer arrived to take shots for the programme and promotions. My hair wasn't fresh and I hadn't bought any makeup to touch-up with. It was a nightmare! Granted, my role is intense and rather dramatic and I often shed a few tears. Plus, I had been rehearsing for a couple of hours prior to the photoshoot.

But I do and will regret not being properly prepared for todays events.

The lesson here is to be prepared. Always expect the unexpected. Your face is your fortune. It must be pretty at all waking moments. Be proud of your hairstyle always. It all equates to confidence and there is never a second shot for a first impression!


You never know who is about to walk into your life.

Last week, I audtitioned for a part in a theatre company and got in. Bombshells like the limelight, even us shy kittens. When we shine brightly we can be blinding, but when we flickers to a dim glow, well... you'd probably prefer not to know about it. We are used to people paying attention to us. It's our part in life to be admired. It is a reason very few people see us "sans make-up"! It's a famous bombshell tradition to always receive a bouquet of flowers after the first and last show in a season. I look forward to it so much! Louis Vuitton Barbie

This is gorgeous. Just gorgeous with a '70's style thing going on here. And I have to admit I am rather ever so slightly envious of her abundance of accessories. Lucky plasticated bombshell... A Barbie for grown up girls? I think so. Though I have a feeling my little girl would confiscate it from me. I, kittens, am confined to the boudoir today as I suffer from consumption. Ok, not quite consumption. A case of hypochondria perhaps. And a post-nasal drip. Though I might just roll out of bed for one of these beauties. I don't know what one of these gems would cost. Anyone? Are they still available? Who knows..  But for now, I shall just roll over and get back to Club Duvet.

No More For Vanessa And Johnnie

After 14 years as a couple, raising their two children 12 year old Lily-Rose and 9 year old Jack, actor Johnny Depp and his french girlfriend Vanessa Paradis have decided to go their separate ways. I thought it was so romantic for him to buy a private island for them to share together.  These things remind us that nothing lasts forever. Separation.  Was it clash of ego? Was it addiction difficulties?  Confusion of priorities?  What a crying shame and such a common thing to happen, especially for celebrities.
