I'd forgotten how much energy is used by performing each day. Now I remember. I understand why so many performers need massages after shows. Ooh I'd love a Hawaiian lomi lomi massage. Bombshells, don't forget that massage is not a luxury but a normal part of our health and wellbeing rights. For me, I need to be massaged for at least 90 minutes as I take 30minutes to relax. I love the smell of pancake makeup and powder. I love the hushes in the darkness of the wings as we ready ourselves for our entrance. I love not being able to see beyond the first row of the crowd. And I absolutely love taking a bow and the applause of the audience! I love that no matter what problems occur, the show must go on!

A gentleman is taking me out for a drink tonight and I have no idea what to wear. It's very cold and windy. Dreadful for my hair. With 3 wardrobes full of pretty things yet I can never find anything to wear. How delightful he wants to meet with me. I ought to get a little afternoon nap in now whist there is still time. Pimms No 1 Cup British bombshells drink this cocktail like tea during the warmer months. Londoner James Pimm, owner of an 1840's oyster bar invented this lovely thirst-quenching drink. It combines gin, quinine (great for easingnasty cramps ladies!) and a secret mixture of herbs. This drink is designed to aid digestion. Makes 1 litre Ingredients (serves 4) 4 cups ice cubes (freeze strawberries or mint in them if you like!) 1 lemon/orange, cut into thick slices 160ml Pimms No. 1 125ml lemonade, chilled 125ml ginger ale, chilled Mint leaves 1/2 Lebanese cucumber, cut into thin strips Method Place 1/2 the ice into a 1-litre capacity jug. Add lemon slices. Pour Pimm's, then lemonade, ginger ale, mint leaves and even strawberries if you like. Stir with a pretty swizzle stick to combine. Divide the remaining ice cubes amongst 4 tall, pretty glasses. Place a slice of cucumber into each glass and then fill with cocktail. Serve.

Bombshells be comfortable with your own body. Every single bombshell in history was, or pretented to be. If you don't adore your body, how can you expect anyone else to? Be proud and unique. If an artist wants to paint your nude portrait, let them! Be open to new ideas. I've modelled full-figure lingerie for a top underwear company. What will you tell the nurses in the aged-care home when you are old? Just remember, in nude/semi-nude photoshoots, black and white is best.

I don't think I could ever get married, I'd never find the right dress. How is a girl supposed to settle on ONE dress. THE dress. How would I ever know which dress is best? Maybe that's why Elizabeth Taylor got married so many times. That reminds me, if the man you see exculsively isn't handsome (in your eyes), then he MUST be extremely rich, to quote Madonna (again) "Don't go for second best, baby."

Never get caught without your makeup on or your hair done to your satisfaction. I've clearly learned my lesson today. I was busy rehearsing with my theatre troupe when a photographer arrived to take shots for the programme and promotions. My hair wasn't fresh and I hadn't bought any makeup to touch-up with. It was a nightmare! Granted, my role is intense and rather dramatic and I often shed a few tears. Plus, I had been rehearsing for a couple of hours prior to the photoshoot. But I do and will regret not being properly prepared for todays events. The lesson here is to be prepared. Always expect the unexpected. Your face is your fortune. It must be pretty at all waking moments. Be proud of your hairstyle always. It all equates to confidence and there is never a second shot for a first impression! You never know who is about to walk into your life.

The Sound Of Music. I can't remember how many times as a child I sat playing with my Barbies whilst watching this movie on TV. Baroness Schroader is amazing. Incredible! I really don't see what made her so awful. All she did was find a charming, wealthy, handsome man and want to spend time with him away from his 9 naughty children. She was elegant, beautiful and charming. Is that something not to like? What makes her plight such a bad one? Is it becuase she didn't stand aside to let the governess move in on her fiance? I love this gold dress. I want to wear it! Eleanor Parker played this role with such style.

Fame and fortune. Is anybody ever really happy? Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence? What, if you get there only to discover that it's just another ugly, overgrown lawn waiting to be mowed? I'm refering to people other than the lovely Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, of course. Imagine not being able to buy tampons without being photographed. Does any rate of pay compensate for one's lack of anonymity? Like I wrote in an older post, it's natural to be famous. Jesus was famous. Talent makes us famous (so does crime for that matter). But Jesus wasn't on camera everytime he stepped outside. What about the psycho-maniacs who scream and cry or even (heaven forbid) don't think you should live without them. I'm not sure about this phenomena... Sure, I could handle the constant stream of interesting work, travelling, adoration, hotels and functions. But to lose your privacy? I adore Amy Lou Adams. She's an Italian-born actress (4th of 7 children) who started her acting career in dinner theatres, which I think is wonderful! Her first film was Drop Dead Gorgeous in 1999. Then she was cast as Brenda Strong with Leonardo Dicaprio in Catch Me If You Can in 2002. Junebug was next in 2005 and she received the award for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars. Since then, she's starred as Giselle in Enchanted (I loved it, it's gorgeous) for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination. Then the year after, Amy won her second Oscar for her role as Sister James in Doubt. Recently, I saw her in Sunshine Cleaning with Emily Blunt (see my older posts) and thought they were both wonderful performances. I also love the fact that Amy used to work at Hooters. That's fantastic!!

I highly recommend this destination and this hotel. Barcelona is one of Spains largest ports with so much to see and do. The hotel I'm recommending is Hotel 1898. It's on Las Ramblas, right in Barcelona. Once home to the Phillipine Tobacco Company, built in 1881. There are 5 categories of rooms which are all soundproofed and equiped with the latest technologies and finest fabrics. It has a fabulous colonial (though I think quite nautical) theme with a lot of black and white stripes. Within the next 12 hours I have to write a bio for the theatrical production for which I'm currently rehearsing. I would never have thought it would be this difficult to write about myself... My passion for acting started at an early age and I began training when I was 7. I’ve been in many productions. I attended Hollywood High, a school specializing in performing arts and was also trained by Gerry Atkins, Helen Logie-Baird & Barry Barkla. Places I’ve studied also include WAAPA and the Film & Television Institute. My dance training consists of tap, ballet & jazz. I love to sing and play the ukulele. I also love art and everything creative. My favourite actresses are Barbara Streisand, Lucille Ball & Bette Midler. My role of Katherine Walker in Delerious Delusions marks my debut with The Hartwell Players. Ugh, who would have thought this would be so difficult? It has to be short... I think I need to spruce it a bit. So much work left to be done!
