I'm taking ballet lessons again. As so many bombshells do. I'm having personal lessons with the boss of a dancing school. The uniform I wear is fabulous. It's a blue leotard worn over pale pink tights with little pink ballet shoes and there's a little blue floaty chiffon wrap-around skirt (for modesty). I also bought Calvin Klein mohair leg warmers in a sale and when I pull my hair back in a bun, I can LOOK like I'm a good dancer! Ballet isn't an easy form of dance at all, but it's beautiful and therapeutic. It also gives you great, long muscles. I'm beginning to think this is a form of excercise I can actually stay with!

I need to do a myriad of occupations. I want to be a tram driver, a ballerina, a teacher, a pilot, a hairdresser, a beautician, a charity worker, a social worker, a psychologist, a farmer, a comedienne, a zoo keeper, a vet, a writer, a journalist, a photographer, a film critic, an archaeologist, a food critic, a theatre critic, a playwrite, a theatre director, a film director, a talk show host, a radio show host, a singer, an astronaught, a princess, a marine-biologist, a jeweller, a pastry chef, a freedom fighter, a chocolatier, a shopkeeper, a coursetier, a perfumiere, a spy, a dog-groomer and the list gets longer every single day.  My mother sometimes refers to me as her 'chameleon' and it took me a few years to work out why. I want to be these people, have these jobs and experience these amazing lives. I love to immerse myself in the fantasy. So much so that sometimes it's difficult to accept an ordinary world. When I'm feeling the blues or the mean reds, I like to go and be together with the animals at the zoo. If there's no zoo available or if I'm feeling particularly lazy, sometimes there are particular websites which can make me feel a little brighter. I've just spent four hours on a cramped aeroplane, wedged between two unattractive men of poor hygiene and low intelect. I paid top dollar for this flight, I should have stuck with my usual airline of which club I have been such a loyal member. To make things worse, there was absolutely no entertainment, food or beverages. Oh I miss the days of first class travel. I agree with Jerry Seinfeld when he says "Once you've gone first class, you can't go back to coach." Now I'm back in my boudoir, showered, fragrant, relaxed and quite exhausted from sitting locked in that little chair for so long. I realise the fact I've been away for over a fortnight has left me with an empty kitchen. Not that my kitchen ever has food in it, but at least there could be an apple.

However, it's a good feeling to simplify my life. The less I need to worry about, the better I will feel and the more time I can spend pampering myself and those I care for.  So, I decided against having nail gel applied. I'm looking forward to my full-day photoshoot with this fantastic company. Actually, I haven't booked in with them. Yet. I saw this being done in New York City a few years ago and haven't come by anything remotely like it since then. The Plaza is the only New York City hotel to be designated as National Historic Landmark. It opened it's doors in 1907 and was described as the greatest hotel in the world. I'm going to start this post by stating that I'll always be younger and taller than Penelope Cruz. Penelope Cruz Sanchez is the 'spanish enchantress'. Never underestimate the allure of a woman in a turban. I've always loved them, since I was in school. I told my best friend how much I loved them while we were trying on wigs at a store one day. She swore to me for years that she wouldn't be seen with me wearing one. She's since come around to the idea. They are so glamorous! You can find turbans in many different fabrics and colours and different styles too. You can pin brooches to them as well. There's so much you can do with them. Turbans aren't reserved for women fighting cancer or the ladies from Grey Gardens. All great Bombshells wear/wore them. They look so chic at all kinds of occasions. Best of all, you can always rely on a turban to help you through a bad hair day.

It's high time to invest in a pair of earplugs, like the ones Holly Golightly has in Breakfast At Tiffanys. I have a dilemma. I'll explain. . . My relatively new neighbour had her relatively new lover stay over last night for many uninterrupted hours of unbridled passion in the bedroom. The issue is that her bedroom wall is also my bedroom wall. The other issue is the noise which kept me awake during extremely regular intervals between the hours of 12 midnight and 7 in the morning. We all know that Bombshells need a minimum of 8 hours sleep each night. Otherwise people must put up with cranky Bombshells or worse! How could I sleep? How could I complain? What could I do? Do I knock on the wall and embarrass them? Do I call the police and report their night of unbridled passion? Of course I couldn't do any of that. The supermodels of the 1990's were a little too skinny to be classed as buxom, curvaceous bombshells, but they were so devinely glamorous! Tall and leggy, graceful and beautiful. This was before the millenium made girls think they needed to be as thin as a chopstick to be beautiful.

Camilla Belle is the bombshell for March. Miss March Camilla Belle Routh was born in California to a brazillian fashion designer mother. I was sitting with a very dear friend at my favourite french bistrot when I realised that a tiny fly had drowned in my delicious champagne cocktail. Then I saw that not one, but two little flies had drowned in my friends cocktail. We realised these tiny flies were all around us. This soured our evening quite a bit as I didn't expect flies to be inside such a lovely cafe whilst I'm dining. I don't think I'll return there until winter is here and those pesky tiny flies have gone away.

It's the day of lovers. Twenty-four hours of love, passion, lust, sex, heartbreak, lost love, loneliness, sensuality, desire, past loves, future love and heartbreak. Happy Valentines Day. We still love to believe in love! I don't believe life is meant to be perfect. For anyone. Nobody has a perfect life. Every being on Earth has wants, needs, tribulations, disappointments, heartbreak, loss, insecurities, neuroses and doubts. It's a great myth, I'd love to believe that life could be perfect. But love makes everything 'feel' perfect. For partners, I wish you much joy on this St Valentines Day. For singles, I wish you great love from within. I hope you spend a little time alone and congratulate yourselves on your own achievements. May it be your mind, your body or your soul. Cherish your loved ones including your animals. My little Jerry boy (my beautiful, adorable pet bird) will be going on a lovely little holiday at a friends' place whilst I jet off to the West Coast to visit family and friends in April. Holidays in my hometown bring to mind sleeping in, massages, good food, shopping, beaches, cafes, little islands off the coast, wineries, whales and bushwalks. I've also made a booking to cruise the South Pacific early next year on an exquisite new boat. I love to sail. I have to say that my favourite activities on board are the art auctions and the high tea. Again, I won't be taking my little bird on that either. Poor little home body!! It's good to travel. Escpecially when one is single! I love to explore. Bombshells are constantly travelling and delighting in exotic holidays. However we travel and wherever we go, we do it with style. So much to look forward to this year!! What a bon voyage!!!
